In 1985, Lee embarked on his journey in the electrical industry, starting as an apprentice. By 1990, he had earned his license and gained invaluable experience in the electrical contracting industry. However, during these years, Lee noticed a
significant void in specialized lighting repair services.
 

In 1994, armed with a vision to fill this gap, Lee transformed an old bread truck into the foundation of his new venture, Signature Lighting Maintenance (SLM). From the outset, the repurposed bread truck became a symbol of Lee's hands-on
approach, as he personally drove to properties, identifying and addressing lighting issues. This grassroots beginning laid the groundwork for a business that prioritized quality and customer satisfaction. Despite its roots in lighting maintenance, SLM has retained its status as a fully licensed electrical contractor, offering services for projects of all sizes. Lee's commitment to excellence has allowed the company to seamlessly blend both specialties, providing a comprehensive range of electrical solutions.
 

As the industry evolved with the introduction of LED lighting, Lee once again embraced innovation, positioning SLM as a leader in designing and installing LED products for commercial lighting. This forward-thinking approach aligned SLM
with the latest industry trends and solidified its reputation as a go-to expert in the commercial lighting sector.
